The National Information Technology Development Agency, has presented ‘Long Service Award’ to 17 of its dedicated members of staff, who have worked at NITDA between 10 to 20 years.
The Director General of the agency, Mall Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, presented award plaques to the recipients at the Dinner & Awards Night of the ongoing #DigitalNigeria2022, ICC, Abuja.
In attendance were, the Minister of Communications & Digital Economy Prof. Isa Pantami; his counterpart from Gambia, Mr Ousman A. Bah; Chairman, NITDA Governing Board, Dr Abubakar Sa’id; DG NITDA Nigeria, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, and other dignitaries.
In a tweet via the Agency’s verified Twitter handle, the members of staff were recognized for their contributions to the development of Nigeria’s Digital Economy sector.
It reads, “To appreciate staff who have spent between 10 – 20 years @NITDANigeria, the Agency has recognised and honoured them with Long Service Award during the #DigitalNigeria2022 Dinner & Awards Night for their contributions to the development of Nigeria’s Digital Economy sector.”

NITDA is tech Agency committed to implementing the National Digital economy policy for digital Nigeria. Whose mandate is to create a framework for the planning, research, development, standardization, application, coordination, monitoring, evaluation and regulation of Information Technology practices in Nigeria.
The priorities of the Agency are Developmental Regulation, Digital Literacy and Skills, Solid Infrastructure, Service Infrastructure, Digital Services Development and Promotion, Software Infrastructure, Digital Society and Emerging Technologies & Indigenous Content Development and Adoption.
