End to end social media platform, WhatsApp has revealed that its users can now finally edit sent messages.
This was disclosed by Meta Chief Executive Officer, Mark Zuckerberg, on Monday through his official Facebook account.
“We’re excited that you’ll now have more control over your chats, such as correcting misspellings or adding more context to a message.
“For this, within 15 minutes of sending the message, you have to tap and hold that message for a while and then select the option of ‘Edit’ from the menu”, he posted.
Users previously had to either completely remove a message or write a correction in a different message. The messaging app extended the window for message deletion last year.
