Africa’s leading payment technology company, Flutterwave, has announced the appointment of Marshall Lux as a Senior Advisor.
Prior to the announcement, Marshall was a former Chief Risk Officer at JP Morgan Chase and a Senior Partner at McKinsey.
According to Nairametrics, Marshall has a wealth of experience in model development, stress testing, portfolio management and optimization, line setting and increases, fraud, regulatory, cyber, operations risk, and other areas.
He is also reputed to have over 30 years in financial services.
At McKinsey, he serviced financial service customers across a variety of subsectors and oversaw the firm’s Risk, Technology, and Private Equity groups.
Following McKinsey, he worked at JP Morgan Chase as the Chief Risk Officer for all consumer products worldwide, including mortgages, credit cards, student loans, auto loans, and small business loans. He also contributed to the development of McKinsey’s Risk Management Practice.
Marshall was most recently a Senior Partner with the Boston Consulting Group, where he is still an active Senior Advisor. He has worked on risk improvement projects for major banks in the United States and around the world. He frequently serves on or chairs the Risk Committees of the boards on which he serves.
Marshall will provide advice to all of Flutterwave’s businesses, with a focus on areas relating to global risk management, compliance, and security.
