Google aims to bring generative artificial intelligence into its advertising company in the next months to develop “novel” adverts, Financial Times reported.
Generative AI is a form of technology that uses past data to produce content rather than identify it.
Google began the public release of its chatbot Bard last month, seeking users and comments in order to gain ground on Microsoft in the race to lead the market for AI technology.
According to the presentation, advertisers can provide “creative” materials such as photography, video, and text relevant to a certain ad campaign, and the AI will then blend this material to generate advertising on the target audience, as well as sales targets, according to the report.
While there have been concerns about the wider influence of AI on topics such as disinformation, phishing efforts, and criminality, Google plans to implement safeguards to address these concerns when it launches the new generative AI features, according to the Financial Times.
