The Central Bank of Nigeria has granted a payment service solution license to Clane, a Nigerian fintech.
This license gives the fintech the authourity to offer agency banking services, to operate as a payments solution service provider, as well as a payment terminal service provider.

It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and it allows us to continue providing innovative and reliable mobile payment solutions to our customers. We believe that the future of payments is mobile, and we are excited to be at the forefront of this movement.” Dipo Alabede, Clane CEO, said excited at the development.
Clane was founded in 2017 to provide digital payment solutions for individuals and businesses.
The startup’s product, ClanePay allows individuals to pay for services like utility bills, event tickets.
ClanePOS, provides payment solutions for businesses with the aid of cards, transfers, and NFC payments.
